Beaverton is Home 🧡
Why Beaverton 🎯
Many buyers are also drawn to Beaverton for its school districts and educational opportunities. For families, that can be a major factor when deciding where to settle. With major employers nearby such as Nike, Intel, and other technology companies, the area also offers convenient commuting and long term stability.
Location is another big advantage. Beaverton offers a central hub for reaching downtown Portland when needed, while still being an easy starting point for trips to the coast or the mountains.
Westside Living ☺️
Beaverton remains one of the most popular areas on Portland’s west side, offering a mix of established neighborhoods, newer construction, strong schools, and convenient access to major employers such as Nike and Intel. Many buyers are drawn to Beaverton for its balance of value, local amenities, and proximity to Portland.I work with both buyers and sellers throughout the Portland Metro area, and Beaverton is a market I am in regularly, as I live on Sexton Mountain. I often help first time buyers, move up buyers, and homeowners preparing to sell. Living here also gives me a day to day feel for the area, how neighborhoods differ, what commute patterns are like, and what buyers tend to prioritize depending on lifestyle and budget.
Day-to-Day Life 🌳
One of the things I appreciate most about living in Beaverton is how easy it is to live an active lifestyle. There are plenty of trails, sidewalks, and parks for running or walking, and the neighborhoods tend to have a safe, welcoming, local feel that many people seek. A host of local gyms, athletic clubs, and studios provide a range of offerings, including yoga, Pilates, and more.
The food scene has also grown a lot over the years. There are some fantastic local restaurants, including my personal favorite, the many Korean and Thai restaurants in the area, along with a number of Portland favorites such as Loyal Legion, Café Mingo, and Canard, all making their way into downtown Beaverton. It has become a great place to go out without needing to head into the city to enjoy some good eats.
Beaverton is also surrounded by many of the things that make the Pacific Northwest special. Local wineries, farms, and scenic driving roads are all close by. Whether someone enjoys cycling, riding motorcycles, or simply getting out for a weekend drive, beautiful scenic routes are just minutes away.
I have now lived in Beaverton for over a decade, and it has truly become one of my favorite areas in the entire Portland metro area. I am grateful to call it home, and I am always happy to share a tour of the area and insights for anyone considering making Beaverton home as well.
